Founded in 2007 CE, the Barrie Photo Club is a non-profit club located in the area of Barrie, Ontario. I've been a member of this club since 2015. Open to everyone, irrespective of their experience level, the club meets on a regular monthly
basis. The club has grown to over 120 members with a wide age range from early teens to seniors. The Barrie Photo Club aims to create and maintain an active photographic community which supports members
in their growth and development as photographers and provides varied opportunities for gaining new knowledge, skills, development, technical improvement, expansion of perspective, sharing of photographic art and enjoyment
of the craft.
The club features varied monthly educational events that include speakers, outings, workshops, discussions and member presentations. The following street portraits are from one of the club’s outings to Downtown Barrie and the Barrie Farmers' Market.
